MBA Employers See Better Economy Ahead

 

Seventy percent of MBA employers polled recently by the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) expect 2010 to bring relief from the difficult conditions that defined the business climate in 2009. As a result, the uncertainty surrounding many companies’ hiring plans may begin to dissipate as the year progresses, according to GMAC researchers.

GMAT Registration Levels Hit New Record in 2009

 

People registered for the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) more times in 2009 than in any other year since the exam’s creation in 1954. Global registration volume for the GMAT in 2009 was a record 301,800, topping the previous record of 298,734 recorded in 2008. In 2007, GMAT registration volume was 270,724.

GMAC and Pearson Collaborate on New English Language Test

 

Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE Academic), a new English language test developed in collaboration with GMAC, will debut on October 26, 2009.
